Day 2: Visit to Wujiang Qidu Middle School

We went to Qidu Middle School today and met our buddies. They were nice & friendly. We attended some classes on Chinese cultural arts appreciation. We learnt that there were three types of opera – puppets, unseen puppetry, and people. We also attended a paper pattern handicraft lesson, which was something new to most of us.

After lunch, we attended lessons with our buddies, and that concluded our first day at Qidu Middle School.

Our last activity of the day was sightseeing at Shangtang Street, which featured shops selling a variety of food and toys. We ended the day with a sumptuous dinner.
